Tame your Inner Critic
Find Healing In Grief
You deserve to treat yourself with compassion. Online therapy for California residents.
You may be tired of feeling anxious and depressed, of not being good enough, of not meeting others' or your own expectations. It can be lonely and scary when you feel out of control and don't know who you can go to without being judged.
Let me support you in finding more compassionate ways of connecting with yourself and others in your life, so you can cope better, feel less isolated, and finally believe in your strengths and worth.
You may have experienced important losses recently or a long time ago. But when the grief wave hits, it can feel so overwhelming as if you just lost your person / pet / relationship yesterday.
Grief can be lonely for so many reasons. You don't want to burden others or are taking care of others. People around you don't know how to support you, even if you experience the same loss. They don't understand the true meanings of your loss. Or they expect you to be over your grief by now.
I can't take away your pain, but I will be a witness to your experience. And for many, that begins their healing.
Let me support you in your grieving journey. Together, we will find compassionate ways to manage and transform your grief, so you feel less overwhelmed, less lonely, and more supported.
Let's Work Together!
Whether you are here because you want to tame your inner critic or to find healing in grief, I am here with you.
It takes courage to seek support. After all, it is not in most cultural norms to acknowledge that we are struggling. If you are struggling, you are not weak or broken. You are a human being with unmet needs, and you are going through a difficult time. You deserve the compassion you so readily offer to your friends, family, colleagues, etc.
Many of my clients are woman of color, current or former international students, immigrants, or children of immigrants. They face enormous pressure to prove themselves, make their family/community proud, and cope with the conflicting cultures between their family/community and the larger U.S. society. If you identify as such, you likely have not had the permission to rest or take care of yourself, even when you are suffering or grieving. I would love opportunity to work with you.
